Maintenance Engineer

Are you an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer who has worked in medium to heavy manufacturing industry?  Due to an internal promotion in the electrical engineering team a role is now available to join this global manufacturing company at one of their sites in Leicester.   This is a fast paced environment producing household brand products and you will need to be able to work toward tight deadlines in a safe manner. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team to offer electrical support on PPM's and breakdowns.  You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working closely with the mechanical engineers on shift. Duties of this Maintenance Engineers Role: Provide an Electrical engineering service to the production team to achieve minimal down time Proactive for carrying out planned maintenance duties Insuring you are commercially aware of budgets to ensure there is the right amount of spares Look at ways to continuously improve efficiencies and downtime Collect and compile all data as requested To encourage and motivate apprentices and offer assistance. Qualifications and skills needed for this Maintenance Engineer. Must hold a recognised Level 3 Engineering Qualification.  Experience within a fast paced environment Experience in a medium or heavy industry is preferable. Ability to work to tight deadlines & under pressure.
