Our client is a professional and industry leading supplier of asbestos management services across the South East of England. They are now seeking to recruit an Asbestos Operations Manager. This role would suit someone in a project management position looking to join a company to take a step up in their career and continue to build on their experience. You will be overseeing, supporting, and managing asbestos staff who are working on Commercial, Domestic, Healthcare, High Security, and Local Authority sites. You will also be responsible for ensuring projects are completed in line with agreed time frames, writing site specific RAMs and ensuring the business runs smoothly day to day. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working for an established Asbestos Company.
" Will come from an operations / management background, within the asbestos industry.
" Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently via phone, email and face to face.
" IT Literate.
" Excellent time management skills.
The Role:
" Pricing up asbestos work and providing clients with accurate tenders and quotations.
" Overseeing, managing, and supporting asbestos site staff.
" Efficiently managing work and delegating when required.
" Direct involvement in quality control, method statements, and risk assessments.
" Writing site specific RAMs.
" Carrying out appraisals and training both new and existing staff.
" Acting as first point of contact for clients, dealing with any issues efficiently.
" Getting involved and taking control of financial aspects of the business.
" Ensuring smooth day today running of the company.
" Visiting site and carrying out inspections and audits.
" Attending meetings when required, ensuring to represent the company professionally.
" Ensuring all contracts are completes in line with agreed timelines and to client specification.
