About the Non-Licence Asbestos Removal Operative role:

You'll undertake non-licensed asbestos removal to responsive and routine repairs and void repairs to Portsmouth City Council s (PCC) Housing and Corporate Assets stock, and from time-to-time support other maintenance contracts as required when demand requires.

You will be working in all of PCC s property portfolio including, but not limited to, Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage and Museums.

Key Activities as our Non-Licence Asbestos Removal Operative:

Undertaking non-licensed asbestos removal in occupied homes, buildings and empty properties. The work will include but is not limited to; Uplifting floor coverings, removing textured coatings and assisting other trades that require assistant on non-licensed asbestos work.

What we are looking for in our Non-Licence Asbestos Removal Operative:

• Be able to demonstrate you are a competent person with a reasonable understanding of construction methods and materials used
• Full driving licence
• CSCS card (preferred)
• Non-license asbestos removal
• Experience working within the construction industry
