Architectural Technologist


We are seeking a talented Architectural Technologist/Design Coordinator with a robust architectural background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multiple architectural projects, providing design input, and possess proficiency in Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage multiple architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

  • Architectural Design Input: Provide valuable design input throughout the project lifecycle, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to enhance project outcomes.

  • Revit Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Revit software, utilizing it to create accurate architectural designs and models.

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.

  • Maintenance of Filing Systems: Establish and maintain organized filing systems to effectively manage project documentation and information.

  • BIM (Building Information Modeling): Utilize BIM technologies to enhance collaboration and streamline the architectural design process.

  • Technical Accreditation Maintenance: Ensure compliance with technical accreditations and certifications, staying abreast of industry standards and best practices.

  • Quality Management Systems: Uphold quality management systems to maintain the highest standards of design and construction excellence.

  • Coordination: Facilitate seamless coordination between external consultants, in-house design teams, and manufacturing facilities to ensure alignment and integration of architectural projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture or related field.
  • Proven experience managing multiple architectural projects.
  • Strong architectural design skills and the ability to provide valuable design input.
  • Proficiency in Revit software is essential.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of BIM technologies and processes.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and technical accreditations.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be based locally in Northampton and able to work from our office.
