Lecturer in Engineering

I am working with an extraordinary educational college in Derbyshire that has an extremely successful Engineering programme. The college itself has the best university facilities in the UK, investing more than GBP200 million last decade with OFSTED grading the college as Good .

With an excess of 30,000 students choosing to study there, and a team of over 2000 academic members of staff, the college is looking for a talented Lecturer to join their team. Could you teach a range of qualifications such as T Levels in Processing and control, PEO and other apprenticeships within Engineering? For the right candidate a financial contribution towards a PGCE/ Cert Ed will be offered.

The successful Lecturer in Engineering will be:

• Qualified Level 5 or above in mechanical and electrical engineering
• Will have experience using 3D SolidWorks/ 2D Autodesk/ AutoCAD
• Able to teach linking CAD and CNC machines, manual drawing techniques to British standards, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Being able to utilise Microsoft Teams or Blackboard as part of the lesson
• Experience within teaching Engineering
• Graduates within Engineering welcome
• Experienced Industry professionals with a desire to help students succeed
