The Successful
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer
will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on vacuum pumps, blowers, compressors and systems at customer sites.
The
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer
will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering, such as, vacuum, vacuum pumps, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, or similar. Full product training provided.

To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors at customer sites near Leicester, Derby, Nottingham
The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of vacuum systems, pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum chambers, and other vacuum related products and systems.
Installing vacuum systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various vacuum equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

echanical Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Pump Engineer / Valve Technician / Electromechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, rotating equipment, capital equipment is advantageous. Full product training provided.
A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Willing to travel to customer sites to perform service, maintenance, and repair.
