Mechanical Assembly Fitter

Position : Mechanical Assembly Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Technician

Location : Sheffield

Sector : Engineering, Manufacturing

Hours : Monday to Friday days only. No shifts, no weekends

Salary : 32,000- 35,000

Please note : due to the lack of public transport to the site, you will need your own transport

About the role :

• Mechanical fitting / mechanical assembly of hydraulic, pneumatic and other mechanical systems
• Following engineering drawings to manufacture products
• Using basic hand tools

About You :

• Experience of mechanical fitting, mechanical assembly etc
• Holds a formal qualification in mechanical engineering, manufacture, assembly, performing manufacturing operations etc
• Able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools
• Experience of drilling, milling, and turning beneficial
