Conveyancing Paralegal

This full-time role is based in their Taunton office, offering the chance to be part of a professional and friendly environment.

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in managing a busy workload, utilising your ability to work well under pressure and exercise initiative.

• Assisting in the progression of conveyancing transactions, including exchanging contracts, dealing with completions, preparing contracts, transfers, trust deeds, and correspondence
• Handling completion statements, raising solicitors' invoices, and drafting contracts
• Taking instructions from and liaising with clients
• Undertaking online searches and completing Land Registry and SDLT forms online
• Providing secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers, both on-site and remotely as required
• Participating in reception and post/DX cover rotas
• Producing documents using the firm's case management software
• Demonstrating excellent administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Exhibiting effective written and verbal communication abilities

• You will ideally have a law degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal
• Ability to manage a demanding workload and work under pressure
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
