Administration Assistant


Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our client based in Yeovil!
They are specialists in their services and are a team of highly experienced engineers within the aerospace and defence industries. They comprise of three main companies working with a seamless working relationship offering comprehensive and unrivalled capability across all engineering services.

They are looking for an Administration Assistant to provide a high quality and professional administrative service acting as the first point of contact for individuals and portraying the business in the highest possible professional basis.

This position is office based working Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 5pm with an early finish on Fridays at 12pm.
This is a permanent position paying up to 13 per hour.

The key duties of the Administration Assistant will include:
  • Welcoming visitors- ensuring they are collected by the relevant department
  • Answering and forwarding phone calls once screened
  • Answering enquiries by phone or via email
  • Producing invoices
  • Daily scanning and filling of orders
  • Scanning, inputting notes and archiving of job cards
  • Scanning of delivery notes
  • Ordering stationary
  • Booking in consumables
The skills needed to be the successful Administration Assistant are:
  • Excellent written communication and computer skills
  • Data management and entry skills
  • Ability to maintain and improve filing systems
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and adaptability
  • Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
