Fabricator/Welder – Mild Steel & Stainless Location: Bathgate, West Lothian, EH48 2ND Salary: £17 per hour + Overtime! Contract: Full-time, permanent Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday-Thursday (8:00am-16:30pm) and Friday (8:00am-13:00pm) For over 30 years, JB Engineering has been delivering specialist engineering services to some of the UK’s key industries, heavy industries and food manufacturers! Fabricator/Welder – The Role JB Engineering are recruiting for an experienced and time-served Fabricator/Welder working with sheet metal and fabrication! The ideal candidate must have the ability to understand and follow instructions on bespoke projects, coming up with ad-hoc short and long term solutions to immediate problems. They will need to be comfortable working with and without drawings and at all times have the ability to improvise. They will have strong communication skills, self-motivated with the ability to adapt and contribute solutions to the differing requirements of each project, making decisions and working both alone and as part of a team. MIG & TIG welding should be to a high standard. They will be competent and have previous experience with all hand and air tools as well as having the ability to understand drawings and work detailed fabrication drawings. A full UK Driving License is required for this role as occasionally required to work away from home.
