NIGHT SHIFT SHUNTER DRIVER

Job Title – HGV Night Shift Shunter Driver Location – Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire Contract – Ongoing Shift availability – Monday - Friday 18:00 - 06:00 This is a temporary vacancy. Job role will include: Your start time will be 18:00 finishing at 06:00 Monday - Friday. Shunting around the yard with the use of a TUG. 12 hour shift per day with a 1 hour deducted break. You must pass a unpaid assessment before being able to work. PAY RATES DRIVERS PAYE DAYS WEEK NIGHTS £16.00 - £17.93 UMBRELLA DAYS £21.35 What we are looking for: A valid full category CE Licence (Class 1) 1 year minimum experience. You must have prior experience shunting with the use of a TUG. No more than 6 points on driving licence. NO DD, DR, IN or MS90 conviction codes due to insurance restrictions Minimum age 25 years due to insurance criteria Drivers will be required to have a good attitude and able to work by themselves or with a team. Demonstrates excellent communication skills. Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail. Able to manage your time and deliveries well (avoiding infringements at all costs).
