Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior QS required for a growing groundworks RC frame contractor in London/Bedfordshire.

Working within a small team the role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to take personal ownership of the division to grow a successful team.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all financial aspects of our groundworks and civil engineering projects.
2. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other necessary documentation.
3. Conduct cost analysis and forecasting.
4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure that contractual requirements are met.
5. Evaluate and manage subcontractor claims and variations.
6. Report on project financial performance to senior management.

Essential Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the groundworks and civil engineering sectors.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
