The Primary Applications Business Partner role is focused on keeping our BAU - legacy ERPs, commercial and in-house digital applications and business users across all ALUK sites operational and compliant with applicable policies and legislation.

This role is based remotely (occasional site visits) in Manchester for an 18 month fixed term contract.

• Performs system tasks and user administration
• Supports business key and end users remotely and at ALUK sites (if required)
• Identifies and specifies new business requirements
• Maintains coherence and integrity of cross domain processes in the solution and leads the functional relationship with the solution providers
• Provides input into information system and business process evolution
• Covers key tasks for BAU operations outside own technology scope

• Relevant Information Technology or Computer Science qualification (or other formalised training)
• Previous experience of working in IT
• ERPs: SAP ECC6, AS400 (multiple instances)
• Commercial applications: Salesforce Lightning
• Databases experience
• Driving Licence for the ability to drive to Air Liquide and Energas sites throughout the UK
