TM Scotland East Kilbride & Glasgow branch are excited to be recruiting for our brand new client based in the heart of East Kilbride who are a leading provider of high-quality red meat products.

Our client is looking for an experienced process technologist for their site in Wolverhampton, who has worked in a similar environment before to add to their team on a permanent basis, following successful virtual interview with TM and the client directly.

The successful applicant will oversee the successful transition of NPD concepts from the development kitchen to full-scale factory production. This role involves liaising with factory personnel, coordinating trials, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

What will your duties and responsibilities be as a process technologist?

• Manage the transition of products from development to factory production.
• Coordinate factory trials in accordance with customer specifications.
• Ensure accurate documentation and storage of trial results.
• Identify and implement process solutions and improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement to source raw materials effectively.
• Ensure timely and successful product launches.
• Liaise with customers on product specifications and attend reviews as needed.

What skills and experience do we require to be successful for the position?

• Degree or equivalent experience in Food Technology or Food Innovation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proactive in challenging and suggesting process improvements
• Accreditation in Food Hygiene (or willingness to obtain)
