Thrive Oldham are recruiting a Network Management Technician in the Leicestershire Area
Corporate Responsibilities

Service Responsibilities

To collate and provide information related to the network management and associated activities and events. Support liaison with wide-ranging stakeholders to manage enquiries, requests for information, negotiation and disputes.

To support the Network Officer in their coordination duties (as required) to assess and authorise works notifications; applications for a permit, and associated permit-variations, for registerable activities; NRSWA licence applications; and permit or licence applications, not received via the Electronic Transfer of Notifications (EToN), into the Street Works Register.

To authorise requests for private Street Works license, such as NRSWA Section 50 & 171 , and issue licenses in accordance with agreed process and procedures.

To support the Councils management of the Highway asset and associated network data and controls for the efficient and effective use of the network.

To support the NRSWA Inspector in the carrying out of inspections on the network, including the provision of information and any subsequent action, including improvement notices or sanctions.

To support the monitoring of progress and satisfactory conclusion of any remedial works and report any non-compliance to the Network Officer or Street Works Inspector (as appropriate) for further action.

To manage the administration and processes for the payment of fees and charges, and other associated costs applied by the Network Coordinator and NRSWA Inspector.

To support the governance and processes associated with the collation, analysis and dissemination of data on the performance of the Network Management to deliver an efficient (operations) and effective (objectives) network management service.

To support the control of traffic within Leicestershire and ensuring the correct traffic management provisions are in place to facilitate both effective network management and safety to those undertaking works and the road user.

To work effectively without supervision, within prescribed policies and guidelines to meet defined needs and targets

To ensure the effective and efficient provision of appropriate customer focused, high quality services as part of their role in accordance with County Council policies, Government and legislative requirements

To ensure all information received is EToN compliant
