Manufacturing Supervisor


Are you a Manufacturing Supervisor with experience gained within electronics? If so, a leading Aerospace manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team based in St Neots. You will plan production, allocate work, supervise staff and monitor work progress. Experience within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment at a supervisory level is a must. Duties:

  • Manage the creation and delivery of the daily production plan
  • Carry out stage kitting and prepare build stages for single piece flow production
  • Ensure production standards are maintained and standard work instructions are followed
  • Monitor the build process through layered auditing and monitor single piece flow stages to ensure on time completion
  • Review daily performance to ensure Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery (SQCD) KPI's are being met
  • Ensure that team members understand and adhere to the Company rules & procedures.
  • Monitor attendance and timekeeping of team members, approving and managing staff holidays to minimise the disruption to the production schedule
  • Complete performance reviews for their team identifying and carrying out additional training
  • Ensuring that team members operate in accordance with quality procedures
  • Assist in identifying methods for continuous improvement
  • Be responsible for the safe working of the team ensuring H&S policies are adhered to


Experience:

  • Experience of working within the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential
  • IPC610 & IPC620 is highly desirable
  • An engineering apprenticeship would be preferable
  • Qualified to GCSE grade C or above is essential
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a busy, varied, and demanding role
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would be preferred
  • Must have good Microsoft office skills
