Job Title; Production Technician

Salary; 25,000 to 30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

Shift Pattern; 06.00 to 14.00 and 14.00 to 22.00 Monday to Friday

Location; South Leicester

Our client has built a reputation as a growing designer and manufacturer of high-performance components, from prototype to volume production, for a variety of technology sectors.

Please be aware that this role has rotating early and late shifts as detailed above.

Production Technician Role ;

• To assist the department with production requirements to meet on-time-delivery requirements.
• Machine loading and taking note of dimensions, jig conditions etc.
• Clean down and reassemble production machinery in a safe and competent manner.
• Basic quality and environmental testing of materials.
• Read and understand technical information and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Any other duties as reasonable requested.

Production Technician Candidate;

• Previous experience from within a production possibly from a precision engineering, electronics, scientific, laboratory, or clean room environment.
• A good standard of education with GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.
• IT literate.
• Ability to read an interpret technical information and specifications.
• Able to work well to own initiative.
