Head of Customer Development - EPOS data and Product (systems)


Delivering annual company growth plan, and input into the company strategy plan. Accountable for unlocking leads through direct contact and through collaboration with Marketing team. Accountable for leading new opportunities through to conversion for the company products within the business for both new and existing clients. Develop strong external networks that support business growth. Develop strong external presence i.e. be known in the industry, through strong social presence and networking. Skillset Required * Lead Generation – Be able to demonstrate capability in generating new leads from a cold start i.e. identifying target customers, identifying contacts, and unlocking introductions and opportunities. * Sales Enablement – Building selling toolkits for products and services that attract and engage potential customers and can be used by all customer facing resources across the business. * Selling Skills – Building rapport with potential customers, establishing needs, and being able to work in a way that engages customers and delivers a proposition that they believe in and buy. * Customer Engagement – Working with customer contacts to ensure they understand their needs, can engage customers, and support them to ensure they have the best product package for their needs. * Relationship Management - Building relationships and engagement with all levels of stakeholders up to board level, internally and with technical partners * Communication – Be able to clearly articulate and communicate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Experience Required * Working in EPOS or Data analytics sector, and have a working knowledge of the Grocery and Convenience sectors. * Working in product sales roles, with experience in a role that involves lead generation all the way through to customer conversion
