Contracts Engineer

We have partnered with a leading supplier of industrial solutions to the engineering and manufacturing organisations looking to recruit for a Contracts Engineer to lead and manage all customer warranty and service claims.   Contracts Engineer Peterborough 12 month - FTC Hybrid working opportunities.   Contracts Engineer Roles & Responsibilities Support customers with aftermarket service contract claims. Managing through from enquiry to completion of customer contracts claims Liaising with customers towards the end of their contracts to retain contracts extensions. Work closely with customers to understand the full scope of supply. Manage the full technical and commercial information for all assigned contracts. Negotiation on issues with customers as appropriate and within levels of delegated authority.  Contracts Engineer Skills/Experiences/Qualifications Must have excellent communication skills. Strong planning, problem solving and organisation skills. Ideally have experience working within a similar engineering environment of manufactured goods It would be beneficial to have a Mechanical Engineering HND or similar level or engineering field. Excellent MS Office skills Previous experience working closely with suppliers of mechanical, electrical or electronic parts would be desirable
