Role - Senior Site Manager Company - Tier One Contractor  Location - Greater Manchester  Summary: My client is a renowned leader in the construction industry, specialising in public sector projects across the UK. With a rich history of delivering high-profile and impactful infrastructure developments, they are committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability in all their endeavours. As they continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Site Manager to join their dynamic team in the Northwest Region. This positions comes with assurances that within 18 months depending on performance you would be fast tracked into a Project Manager role. Role Overview: As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing one of their projects in the Northwest. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project from inception to completion, while adhering to strict quality standards, budgetary constraints, and timelines. Your leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in driving project success and exceeding client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all aspects of assigned public sector projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. Implement effective project management processes and methodologies to optimise efficiency and productivity. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement timely mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence on-site, promoting compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, consultants, and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and generate repeat business opportunities. Qualifications: Proven track record of successfully managing public sector construction projects, preferably within the Northwest region of the UK. Extensive experience in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
