Controls Engineer Coleshill £54,000 - £56,000 Choice of either weekend nights (6pm – 6am) or Monday – Friday 3-shift + Bonus and car scheme I am recruiting for global Automotive company based in the Birmingham area, they are looking to a controls engineer on a two years FTC which is likely to be made permanent. They are offering a leading pension package that is the highest in the West Midlands and worth thousands of pounds a year + bonus and some unbelievable training opportunities including being taught how to programme PLC’s. *For this role they would look at someone a bit more junior who has a really strong electrical skill-set and can interrogate PLC’s (Siemens TIA or Classic) - ladder interrogation and knowledge of function blocks and some minor mods is what is needed for this role, they can develop you to programme PLC’s. They would also look at someone who is strong on the robotics side (ABB) who can programme and also has a strong electrical knowledge.
