Role: Chef de Partie Location: Jersey Employer: Golf Club Salary / Rate of pay: £30000 Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a busy private golf club on Jersey in the Channel Islands who are looking for an experienced Chef to join their team . This private Golf Club is one of the few in the Channel Islands and enjoys the best of the sea views and inland setting. Being a links course means that they have some serious golfers as members and they need feeding after a competitive round. The kitchen operates a predominantly straight shift pattern although there may be the odd split as required. The restaurant is closed Mondays and you will get one other day off as well. What's involved? As Chef de Partie you will cater for bar meals as well as restaurant style dishes and also cater for occasional functions. With such a variety of duties you can expect to always have something different going on so no chance of getting bored! Ideally you will have a couple of years' experience as Chef de Partie and have the versatility in your repertoire to cope with most things the members will ask for. With any Chef de Partie role, you can expect to work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef and will also motivate and help train any junior staff. Sound like the role for you?
