Job Title: Junior IT Service Desk Administrator
Location: Uttoxeter, United Kingdom (On-Site 5 days a week)
Rate range: GBP100 - GBP130 (Inside IR35)
Job Type: Long Term Contract

I am looking for a motivated Junior IT Service Desk Administrator to join one of my biggest clients. This role is ideal for someone with little IT support experience or a graduate with relevant studies or internships. You'll provide first-line technical support and assist users with hardware and software issues.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Respond to IT service desk tickets.
  • Assist users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Set up and maintain computers and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts and passwords.
  • Support software installations and updates.
  • Ensure user satisfaction with timely issue resolution.
  • Communicate technical information clearly.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Due to the on-site requirement You must have a UK driving licence and own a Car/Motorcycle.
  • Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Little experience in IT support or relevant internship.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and hardware.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
