Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer required to join a global pumps manufacturer. The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, maintenance and commissioning on various industrial pump systems and ancillary equipment at customer sites across the UK. The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will ideally have an engineering background within pumps, rotating equipment, gearboxes or similar pump-related products and services. Package £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Company vehicle - door-to-door pay. Overtime payments of time and a half 25 days + Bank holidays  Remote working Pension  Additional benefits Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Role To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and commissioning of industrial pump and ancillary equipment at customer sites UK wide. The Pump Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, and provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of industrial pump systems into various industries. Working closely with Dry-Installed pumps, Submersibles, Barrel and Tubular casting pumps and more. Installing pump products into all forms of the manufacturing industry. Maintain, repair and instal pump equipment in the workshop near Leicester when required. Liaise with various engineering departments. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer Requirements Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer , Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Filtration Engineer , Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer or similar within pumps. Experience in repair of rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes or similar. Ability to measure & record close tolerances of shafts, bearings, bushes etc. Ability to read engineering drawings, schematic diagrams & Operation manuals. Willing to Maintain, repair and instal pump equipment in the workshop near Leicester when required. An engineering qualification would be advantageous. Full UK driving licence & Travel UK wide when required
