Electrical Contract Manager £55,000 - £60,000 Essex Company: Tier 1 contractor that specialise in maintenance, property services and M&E works. Role: Working across the group reporting in to the head of SHEQ, this role focusing on managing compliance on all electrical carried out across the business. The 3 main sectors are property services, mechanical & electrical and capital projects. Duties: To develop and encourage Safe Systems of Work across all aspects of the business, providing guidance and training to site-based teams. To advise engineers and the management team on any technical/electrical matters; typically, NICEIC requirements on projects, planned maintenance and reactive jobs. Inspect Electrical installations carried out by the business to ensure full compliance with the IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and that of the NICEIC requirements and standards. Inspect Electrical certification issued by engineers within the business and that of other sub-contractors to ensure full compliance with NICEIC requirements and standards To carry out post audits of other engineer's electrical work, both directs, and subcontractor partners as required as requiredThis is an excellent chance to join a growing business reporting directly to the SMT, giving you the chance to really shape the role.
