Careers/Higher Education Adviser

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our Careers/Higher Education team on either a part time or full time basis, offering first class advice and guidance to our students from September 2024.  The successful candidate will be someone who can work as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative, and who relishes the opportunity to support young people as they make the transition from A Level study to higher education or the workplace.

Hurtwood House is one of England’s most exciting and successful schools, specialising exclusively in the Sixth Form. Hurtwood House has its own generous salary scale and benefits – our staff are welcome to join students in the first class dining facilities for three meals a day and there is a staff wellbeing programme, comprising in-school sessions and membership of the local leisure centre and its facilities, along with membership of our EAP.  Many of our staff become involved in managing boarding house life for accommodation or an additional allowance.  We are a member of the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
