Finance Assistant


Finance Assistant £25,000 + £1,875 Bonus + Enhanced Pension + Competitive Benefits + Optional Study Support Swindon / Hybrid Working - 2 Days office based - 3 days working from home I am currently working in partnership with a dynamic fast paced growing company. Working in a tenured motivated talented Finance team, you will report to the motivated Finance Supervisor. About the job: * Daily cash flow forecast analysis and bank transfers * Daily bank transaction uploads to the accounting system * Daily process of manual payments using on-line banking portal including foreign supplier payments. * Cheque banking for services * Journals * Sales Ledger - Process sales invoices and allocate and post receipts against customer ledgers. * Maintain debtor balance listing spreadsheet and reconcile to debtor balance and prepare monthly bad debt provision. * Consult with Customers * Accounts Payable - Set-up of new Suppliers * Review supplier invoice batches to verify accuracy of data prior to posting (cover for AP Supervisor during absence). * Completion of employee expense claim audit Benefits * Annual Bonus * 35 hours per week – hybrid * Pension from 5% - 10% employer contribution * Annual Leave - 25 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy more. * Optional study support * Death in service - 4x salary * Critical illness cover * Income protection * Flexible benefits offering including PMI, dental, hospital cash fund, health screening, cycle to work, technology purchases, salary finance, buy/sell holiday, travel insurance, gym membership.
