Principal Engineer

Principal Engineer Leeds £50k-£55k plus benefits & car/car allowance Our client is an industry leading firm offering construction services with a core specialism of buildings and civil engineering. Their office in Leeds is seeking a principal engineer as their workload continues to grow and the office expands. As a principal engineer you will work on a vast range of construction and infrastructure related schemes, including many high-profile projects. Responsibilities: Provide design solutions, technical advice and engineering support on schemes which include both temporary and permanent works Contribute to the delivery of more complex services Temporary works design and checking, above and below ground in all materials, integrated with permanent works design Tender stage and bid winning support Technical assessment and review of 3rd party designs Manage and mentor more junior members of the team About you: Chartered or near Chartered, MIStructE or MICE Interest or experience in temporary works design Full UK driving licence In return you will be offered a competitive package, including car/car allowance, hybrid working and the opportunity to work on varied and interesting schemes across a range of sectors.
