Sen Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Hackney Classroom Support is excited to partner with a Primary school in Hackney, searching for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team start immediately. This position promises a long-term commitment extending into the next academic year, operating consistently on a long-term supply basis. Qualifications and Requirements: * Demonstrated experience in supporting children with challenging behaviors. * Ability to establish meaningful connections with pupils who struggle to engage. * Previous experience in Mainstream or SEN school settings is advantageous. * Firm yet compassionate approach to handling challenging situations. * Experience supporting children with ASD or ADHD is beneficial. * Availability to commit to working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. * Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS with a children's barred check, registered on the update service.
