Test and Validation Engineer

Are you a motivated Test and Validation Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge automotive technologies? Then we want to hear from you. We are looking for engineers to play a critical role in supporting the Start of Production (SOP) projects, particularly focusing on the Design Validation (DV) of Electric Drive Units and batteries. Your responsibilities as a Test and Validation Engineer: * Lead the testing campaign from the definition of requirements through to data analysis and reporting for the design validation of units under test. * Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to define and plan testing requirements and objectives. * Supervise and oversee the setup of testing facilities to ensure all equipment and units meet specified requirements. * Provide onsite support at customer or other facilities to monitor and ensure the effective delivery of the testing campaign. * Perform detailed data processing and analysis to inform engineering decisions and project directions. * Deliver updates on project and testing status to all stakeholders, offering technical guidance where necessary. Your current experience which will help you as a Test and Validation Engineer: * A degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum grade of 2:1. * Proven experience in powertrain development, testing, and design validation, with specific expertise in Electric Drive Units and batteries. * Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets and provide clear, actionable recommendations. * Highly independent, capable of working with minimal supervision and providing leadership in testing environments. * Strong communication skills, proficient in delivering technical information effectively to a varied audience. * Versatile and adaptable, ready to switch focus between different commodities such as batteries, charging systems, and inverters as required.
