Electrical Controls Engineer

Our client is recuiting for an experienced electrical controls engineer to join their expanding team. SUMMARY OF ROLE: * Become the company’s technical expert for all electrical and control issues * Involved in leading and supporting projects with customers * Work closely with customers troubleshooting existing issues * Specifying PLCs, software and related technology for out-of-date equipment * Oversee transition from analogue to digital technology * Develop a new package of control solutions for extrusion machines THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: * Strong experience of control systems and electrical wiring * Worked in a manufacturing environment previously * Have PLC experience ( Siemens & Allen Bradleys) * Have excellent technical customer service experience * Will be happy to work on customer sites around the UK and international (as required) * Be looking to progress their career to form a fundimental part of the leadership team. Working basic 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Basic salary + company vehicle, fully expensed credit card and other exceptional benefits
