Senior Embedded Systems Engineer required by our client, an established expert in the telecommunications, digital audio, and video market. They have an outstanding team of bright, innovative engineers, designing and implementing systems for a very wide range of clients across the whole world.  Job Description – Senior Embedded Systems Engineer Being the main point of contact for all technical aspects from design, development, and manufacture Being hands-on with the design, build and test of products Skills in prototyping and testing designs to verify functionality and performance Writing firmware using best practice techniques and observing good version control Required Skills/Experience Have 10 years’ industry experience OR BEng Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 7 years of experience Have the ability to demonstrate previous product development from concept through to production Demonstrate proficiency in analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design Demonstrate proficiency with designing, developing and verifying electronic schematics Be able to select appropriate components based on design requirements, cost, and availability Demonstrate proficiency with multilayer PCB Design (DipTrace, Altium, OrCAD) would be desirable Demonstrate proficiency in writing well-structured code for microprocessors (Experience with ARM, Microchip PICs, Harmony Framework advantageous) Have low-power design experience (advantageous) Have RF design experience (advantageous) ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE FREE TO WORK IN THE UK.
