Commercial Catering Engineer

Due to company growth, our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role carrying out installations, service, maintenance and reactive work across Leeds and surrounding areas. Job details: * Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of commercial catering equipment. * Responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial catering equipment across the following sectors: Hospitals, Care Homes, Schools/Universities, Restaurants, Café’s and Bars. * Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date. * Completing all works to the highest standards in an efficient manner, while complying with the company’s health and safety policy. Qualifications / Experience: * Previous experience in commercial catering (essential) * Must hold the relevant COMCAT (1,3 & 5) qualifications (essential) * Proven ability to diagnose and rectify equipment issues promptly * Thorough understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards * Excellent attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills are a must * Full UK Driver’s License (essential) What’s on offer: * Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (negotiable) * Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (40hr week) No on call rota! * Holiday allowance: 28 days + bank holidays * Relaxed family atmosphere * Pension contribution * Company van (can also be used for personal use) Fuel card, phone, tablet, testing equipment supplied
