Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager – Ibstock Are you an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager with a passion for early childhood education and a proven track record of driving success? Now Education are recruiting an experienced manager for a Nursery in Ibstock. This role is full time and the ideal candidate will be available to start immediately. The Nursery has a welcoming and friendly environment for children to achieve excellence through play and learning. They aim to ensure the atmosphere enables all children to feel valued, secure and included. Job Responsibilities * To create a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning. * To lead the nursery * To maintain timely, accurate and appropriate records regarding nursery staff and children * Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care * Update parents and carers on children's progress. * To ensure the children have a safe, stimulating and enriching learning environment * Excellent interpersonal skills – able to deal with a variety of people * Attention to detail – high level of accuracy * Full responsibility of recruiting staff and developing the nursery team. * keep records and create reports. * Responsible at all times for high standards of care and education of children between 3 months to 5 years in accordance with statutory requirements * manage a budget. * Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional * make sure safety and child protection regulations are met. Experience * Experience of preparation for successful outcomes of quality reviews such as OFTSED inspections * Ability to supervise planning and delivery for care and education of young children * Ability to organise and prioritise own workload * Ability to meet deadlines and work within allocated budgets * Have a minimum of a level 3 childcare qualification: NNEB / NVQ or equivalent * Have at least 2 years previous experience of working in a Day Nursery * Have at least 2 years experience of leading and supporting teams
