Engineer - Engineering Governance (Aerospace and Defence)
Location: Lancashire

Due to the nature of the role and the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK BPSS & SC Clearance

Join the Global Combat Air Programme/Future Combat Air. As part of the programme integration team, supporting both UK industry and International Partners in creating, developing and deploying components of the Engineering Operating Framework and Governance System.

Working with the lead senior engineer to create and develop parts of the Engineering Operating framework and Governance Systems.
Establishing policies and processes to reduce risk and enhance program efficiency across international engineering teams.
Delivering components of the assurance framework and auditing plan.
Implementing policies and processes throughout the engineering organization.

Skills and experience:
A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge of Engineering Governance principles
Ability to travel (mainly in the UK, with occasional international travel).
Experience working with at least one external customer (e.g., UK MOD).
Tailoring and applying engineering processes, tools, and approaches to develop innovative solutions while meeting governance requirements.
