Security Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, driven, and enthusiastic Security Engineer to join our client’s highly successful and ever expanding team based in London. Applications from suitably qualified ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Marines) will be particularly relevant for this position but other qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance and servicing works on a range of Access Control, CCTV & Alarm systems Liaise with the Project Manager & Planner for scheduling of work and production of completion paperwork Visit customer’s premises and active construction sites to carry out installation and maintenance work Site surveys Fault finding call outs Contribute to improving projects as required Attend out of hours/weekend work as required Raise and review any operational issues within the Engineering team/PM Based from home, you will be expected to travel across London and the South East Attend training as required for unfamiliar products/systems Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Extensive experience working as an Access Control/CCTV & Alarm Engineer Part P would be an advantage but not a requirement Current CSCS card Full valid UK driving licence Ability to attend out of hours/weekend call outs when required Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude Ability to work individually and as part of a team Additional Benefits: Competitive Salary, Incentive scheme, holidays, pensions Learning and career development opportunities All relevant power tools Fully expensed modern van Company mobile phone Company Laptop Uniform and PPE Opportunity for out of hours/weekend overtime work EAP Employee rewards platform Interested applicants will be expected to and return by email a simple application form to which CVs must be pasted
