Building Inspector

A national RBCA are seeking a Class 2 'B'- 'D' RBI in both their North and South London regions. Basic salary circa £55,000 - £60,000 plus company car or allowance, enhanced pension and leave entitlement, with the opportunity for career progression within a growing company. Building Inspector responsibilities: Check plans for compliance with the Building Regulations and associated legislation Issue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificates Undertake inspection of works and produce reports At completion of works ensure all relevant inspections have been performed with appropriate certification submitted, and defects/non-conformities addressed before final certification has been issued Support the training and development of assistant surveyors Client meetings contribution Undertake peer review audits on an ad-hoc basis Maintain Building Inspector CPD / up-to-date Building Regulations knowledge as requiredBuilding Inspector requirements: Class 2 'B' registered Building Inspector or above Interpersonal skillsOverview: 37.5 hrs Monday - Friday Company car / £350 allowance Enhanced pension scheme Extended annual leave entitlement Private healthcare Ongoing professional developmentFor more information please contact (phone number removed) / (url removed)
