Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer - Marine

Job Description: Morson Projects is seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our Marine sector at our Salford, Manchester office. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our Engineers on various projects within our Engineering, Design, and Stress teams. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a degree and relevant work experience, aiming to embark on a rewarding career with an innovative organization. Responsibilities: * Assist in the development of new engineering systems, products, and modifications. * Collaborate on long-term projects, participating in concept engineering or design integration. * Receive training on Foran or Siemens NX CAD software if assigned to a design integration team. * Gather data and details from suppliers for concept engineering purposes. * Work closely with the Stress teams to ensure seamless project execution. * Contribute to meeting project design release targets and take part in process improvement initiatives. * Please note that the above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: * A degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Proficiency in working with CAD packages. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Industry placement or work experience would be beneficial. * Due to project nature, only sole UK nationals are eligible, and the ability to undergo UK SC level security vetting is mandatory.
