Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Operative Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 – regular overtime. No weekend work Van driving experience helpful The Role We are currently looking for a Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Operative to join our growing client based in Luton. They have been a leader in the sheet metal industry for over 50 years and are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to add to our existing, strong workforce. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience within the sheet metal industry, preferably more. Required Skills: * You must be able to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings, to understand the use of patterns and cutting lists. * Skills including metal shearing, punching and forming would be essential * Knowledge of Tig/Mig welding would be an advantage but not essential. * You will be able to work within a team or on your own. Other attributes required: * Health & Safety conscious. * Able to work within a team or on their own. * Good team player. * Flexibility (overtime as required) * Excellent time keeping. We are looking for someone ambitious with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. You will be put through full training over time for this role, with the view of becoming a Skilled Sheet Metal Operative. Whilst full training will be provided you must have at least one years experience within the sheet metal industry. Fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and progress
