SEN Classroom support


ALN Classroom support – Cardiff Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic Teaching assistants to support children ages 3-19 within an SEN environment in both primary, and secondary. We are looking for individuals who have a passion of supporting individual needs to develop each child and celebrate each success within a positive work environment! We work with children who have varied additional needs which include Autism, ADHD, Profound and multiple learning difficulties as well as complex needs. Full training can be provided, however if you had previous experience either within the care sector or working with children with additional learning needs this would be desirable. Further details: Pay: Minimum of £12.90 per hour (£83.85 per day) Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm Contract: Full time Temporary – Permanent Location: Cardiff West We would like to hear from you if: You must have a passion for working with children who have SEN, be able to provide a safe and positive learning environment and the ability to work on their own initiative. Any experience working in education or with people with special needs is desired however if you have no experience, you will still be considered if you are passionate, engaging, proactive, enthusiastic and keen to learn. You must be able to commit to at least two terms work, stability and consistency are key. Successful candidates will work to support students in a Teaching Assistant capacity either 1:1 or in small groups in the classroom or out in the community to aid the students access to learning. You may look to apply for this position if you are a psychology graduate or coming from a background of support working or caring for others.
