Farm Assistant (Travelling)

We are recruiting for 2 Breeder Service Team Members to cover the Cumbria and Yorkshire area

This job will be on the road which you will be provided with a shared work van for so a full clean driving licence is required.

As part of the companies continued growth, they are looking to expand the size of their team to meet the requirements of work demands, so they're looking for individuals to help and support farms during labour intensive operations and to contribute towards the final product - maximum numbers of high-quality hatching eggs with high hatch ability.

In this varied role, you will work as part of the Breeder Service Team, alongside other farm colleagues when vaccinating and transferring the birds to the laying farm. No two days will be the same, as you'll also be on hand to provide support with chick placement, bird grading and weighing, flock transshipment, egg collecting and sampling when the flock allows.

We're looking for individuals who can work with minimal supervision and enjoy a hands-on role in a farming environment.
