Project Engineer - Governance (Aerospace and Defence)
Location: Lancashire

Due to the nature of the role and the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK BPSS & SC Clearance

You will play a crucial role in the Global Combat Air Programme/Future Combat Air System Acquisition Programme.

Your responsibilities will include creating and developing components of the engineering operating framework and governance system. You'll collaborate with the Airworthiness Team, support design organization approvals, and act as a focal point for engineering governance between the joint business entity and the UK industry Lead Systems Integrator.

Key Qualifications:
Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience.
Engineering Governance experience on Defence programmes.
Proficiency in creating and applying engineering processes, tools, and approaches while meeting governance requirements.
Previous experience managing a small team, including task management, performance reviews, and talent management.

Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of engineering governance principles from at least two different areas.
Experience working with external customers, such as the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD).
