CNC Machinist - Days

CNC Machinist Stroud – Days - Permanent – Fulltime – Salary £16ph. Highly experienced candidates – salary considered. My clients Is looking for a Miller, Turner or multi skilled machinist that can set and operate CNC machines in a production environment, ensuring the top quality within given timescale. The role: Set and operate CNC machines using set up sheets, selecting tooling. (lathes/Mills) Self-inspect, including quality, cleaning, and de-burring. Create and edit Machining programs. Confidently interpret technical specifications and drawings Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary. Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop. Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.  The Person: Motivated, highly organised CNC machinist. Experience working with Fanuc controlled CNC Machinery – 4 years Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including verniers, callipers. Experience in production machining environment. Computer literate, good numeracy, and literacy skills.
