Part Time Receptionist


We are looking for a Part Time Receptionist, to work on the Front Desk Reception, greeting and meeting clients and customers, asnwering and transferring calls and to provide additional support to the Office Manager when required. Main Tasks * Meet and greet customers ensuring their details are recorded in our visitor’s book and that they are informed of relevant Health & Safety procedures and any company policies as required. * To act as a source of information point for visitors. * Receive and sort incoming post and prepare any outgoing post as appropriate (e.g., ensuring appropriate postage) * Manage switchboard, transfer phone calls and take and pass on messages efficiently and in a professional manner. * Input information on systems as required. * Make announcements as required. * Scanning and printing for customers. * Carry out a range of office duties for the Office manager including scanning and any ad-hoc duties. Personal Specification Previous experience of working in a reception environment IT skills- proficient in use of Outlook, Word and Excel, ability to input data including financial on to a system Good communication skills for both verbal face to face and over the phone interactions Have the ability to word emails and letters Strong customer services and interpersonal skills Smart and presentable –to give good company image The ability to use your own initiative and have good use of common sense. Qualifications and Education Requirements * Minimum GCSE’s English and Math’s (or equivalent) * High School Education or equivalent attained outside of the UK essential skills * Good/ confident command of the English language. * Excellent organisational skills, telephone skills and a professional customer service manner. * Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. * Able to work to deadlines and under pressure when needed
