Salary: Basic salary of 23,795.20 per annum with the potential to earn 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (full-time, 40 hours per week)

Role Outline: As a Funeral Services Operative, you will drive and bear on funerals with the utmost respect. This role requires handling sensitive tasks such as moving the deceased, preparing for viewings, and ensuring all funeral logistics are handled with care and precision.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and bear on funerals, adhering to strict protocols.
• Efficient removal of deceased from various locations including homes, nursing facilities, and mortuaries.
• Transport coffins and relevant documents across the country and to and from airports.
• Prepare deceased for viewings with respect and attention to detail.
• Maintain funeral vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of necessary items.
• Dress appropriately and manage funeral accessories such as trolleys, shoulder pads, and ceremonial items specific to different funeral customs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driving license with an excellent driving record.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively and sympathetically.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional timekeeping.
• Impeccable personal presentation and adherence to dress codes.
