We are working with a manufacturing business in Telford to recruit for a new Testing team member. You will be working on low voltage and small electrical products to ensure compliance with current standards and will be part of a fantastic team of people who are all supportive and, in a business, where you will feel appreciated.

The Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working alongside the production team to meet manufacturing schedule
• Testing and inspection of low voltage electrical equipment ensuring they meet current standards
• Complete relevant documentation upon test and inspection
• Store documents in correct location
• Transport completed items to despatch team ready for shipment
• Working with the Production and Quality Manager
• Assisting the project teams with any requirements
• Aiding colleague with workload

Skills and Experience

• Must hold BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th edition preferable
• Previous experience with electrical testing and inspection
• Understanding of BS EN 61439 and BS 7909 would be beneficial
• Must be a team player and willing to assist colleagues
• This role would suit someone who has previously worked as an Electrician / Test Engineer / Electrical Test Engineer / Electrical Engineer
