Manufacturing Engineer

Position Available : Manufacturing Engineer
Location : Stevenage - Dynamic Working
Salary : Up to GBP47,000 + Paid Overtime, Company Bonus & Very Good Pension Package + subsidised on-site gym and subsidised canteen.
Experience needed : Experience in translating design requirements into user instructions, and supporting operational staff and the development manufacturing lines.

We are a leading defence company who are at the forefront of innovation in the industry and your work will have a direct impact on the safety and security of the UK & our allies. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

In this role you will support the team in:

• Supporting existing manufacturing lines and new product introduction.
• The validation process, through the use of FMEA.
• Liaison with COSHH assessors, as well as SHE and Human Factors.
• Tooling development and control.

What we need from you:

• Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 And Formal further education certificate to ONC.
• Formal further education certificate to HNC/HND/Relevant Engineering Degree And Relevant Experience
• Must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and commitment to work as part of a team to deliver the business.
• Have the ability to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.
• Must be able to work within and contribute to a team environment.
• Have the ability to communicate both within the working group and at various levels of the organisation.
