The successful candidate will be responsible for cost management, risk assessment, procurement advice, value engineering solutions while providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities: - Manage project costs from inception through completion. - Prepare tender documents including bills of quantities with the architect or engineer - Analyse costing per item/scope changes during development phase -Support contract negotiations between parties involved (contractors/sub-contractors) -Provide regular updates regarding budgets vs actuals; ensuring overall spend does not exceed forecasts Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field -Minimum 5 years experience as a QS working across multiple sectors such as commercial new builds & refurbishments , residential developments etc Skills Required: -Cost Planning/ Estimating Skills -Negotiation skills -Good understanding of Building Regulations / Contracts Administration -Familiarity with relevant software applications like CostX,Candy Software etc Salary Offered: £60000 + Benefits Package.
