Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Engineer - Systems Location: Dorchester - hybrid working (can travel to site as little as 1 x a month) *Please note, candidates for this position must be eligible for SC Clearance* We are currently seeking Systems Engineers from Senior to Principal level on a permanent basis, working for a highly-reputable global leading business. Main Duties: Carrying out general systems engineering activities across the engineering lifecycle Act as the point of contact with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters, to resolve relatively complex problems and issues and to maintain awareness in both parties of priorities and objectives Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working and their development Make engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority Delivering allocated tasks within budget and to timescales as agreed with the project management team Your skills and experiences: Good understanding of the engineering lifecycle Good understanding of systems engineering methodologies and practices Competence and capability with systems engineering tools Software, Hardware or Systems engineering background (desirable) Excellent progression opportunities and benefits package
