We are delighted to be partnered with our client, an established and highly reputable accountancy and financial services based business as they seek to recruit a Bookkeeper with strong management accounts experience to join their experienced and friendly team, within their offices in Uckfield. This is a highly deadline-based role so, at times, flexibility on hours in peak times will be required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small but busy team within a very successful organisation. Bookkeeper (with strong management accounts experience) Full time permanent role - office based but with flexibility to work from home on occasions Mon-Fri (Apply online only) Role based in Uckfield. There is free parking available on the streets close to the office. The office is also around 5-10 mins walk from the nearest mainline station. Salary - £33000-£35000 per annum plus very good company benefits This is an excellent opportunity to work within an established and successful organisation. Duties will include: Review and maintain sales, purchase and general ledgers Post and review month end journals Complete and review VAT returns Maintain a full and accurate audit trail Travel to and work from client sites if required (fully expensed) Prepare and review management accounts from information and documentation received, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met Training and supporting more junior members of staff and clients Experience, competencies and knowledge required: Essential Excellent verbal and written communication skills Previous proven book-keeping experience with strong management accounts experience Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Sage 50 Desirable Extensive knowledge of VAT Knowledge of payroll For more information regarding this new and exciting opportunity, please apply now!
